Cornwall’s Top Beaches

Cornwall is famous for its sandy beaches and perfect surf. It is hustling with holiday guests making the lengthy (in many cases) journey to a beautiful part of the world. The long stretches of sand line the cliffs with exposed sunbathing and ice-cream eating areas and picnic spots.

Atlantic Reach is lucky enough to be close to one of the top beaches in Cornwall. Published by the Daily Telegraph, Watergate Bay is just a 16 minute drive away. The two miles of golden sand, Atlantic swell and rock pooling spots makes this a popular tourist destination.

We are just six miles from Fistral, Newquay’s most iconic beach. Popular for novice and also experienced surfers it is quite simply one of the best surfing beaches in the UK and Europe.

If you fancy seeing more blue sea, glistening sand and sand dunes then Crantock is for you. Seven miles from Atlantic Reach it lays next to the Gannel Estuary, Crantock boasts its expanse of more golden sand, great for sandcastles and surfing.

Now, if you’re at Crantock, you might as well visit Porth Joke – a picturesque, small cove and Holywell Bay – a Cornwall classic beach which was one of the backdrops for the award winning series Poldark, two more beautiful beaches.

Don’t leave your four legged friend at home, Cornwall has many dog friendly beaches, find out more here.
